There were some interesting changes in the format of the register for this year. From 1855 - 1860 there was a column for recording the place of burial which has been eliminated in 1861.
Further, the registrars started to record in the "Name & Surname" column not only the marital status of the deceased and their trade (if any) but the names of all previous spouses. This will be a great help to many, but
unfortunately it was not done for every entry. I will use the same format as previous postings, except the
second line of information may be quite long. I hope someone finds detail of an ancestor in my offerings.
