Jeffrey, widow of Robert Jeffrey age 68. Res, Butts. assisted by grandson.
Family: Janet, age 41, married to John Jeffrey, a collier, with children. Jane,
age 32, married to R Ramsay with two children and Elizabeth Logan, 44, married
to James Blair with 5 children." The following is recorded in the
Kilwinning Poor Relief records. "No 76 Robert Jeffrey res. Tanyard. Age 61
(3rd Oct 1859) parents Joseph Jeffrey and Janet Neil. Married to Mary Muir age
64. Children: Janet 37 married to John Jeffrey, a collier with two children.
Jane, 28, married to Robert Ramsay, a collier with two children and Elizabeth
Logan his wife's daughter age 40, married to James Blair, a collier with 5
children." In 1862 the family was in a sorry state. Robert was almost
disabled and Mary was lame and deaf, she had to be carried through the house but
was able to sew.

is a spirit dealer living in New st, Kilpatricks Land. She
