Message:   My grandfather William Fleming was born c. 1847 in Alloway Ayrshire. William was a baker by trade and immigrated to Australia I think in 1860's. His parents were John Fleming and Agnes Ramsay Fleming (nee Smith). I have been unable to find his parents with LDS or IGI searches, cemetery or census records and would be delighted to hear of anyone who has a connection, information or any suggestions of where I should research next.

Message:   James Smith who came to NZ were friends with Mary nee Davies and George Bruce (Blair)? Alexander Wallace and Davies familys from Lochwinnoch. Some of the passengers with references on the Brilliant were John Bain a saddler, Thomas Henderson a cooper of Grassmarket, Ann MacPherson wife of John Bain, Isabella Mithchell a servant girl.Copies of reference available.
